We are all here (well, at least 99% of us) for the same reason. Our passion for WSU athletics. The key is not letting passion for our positions over-rule respect in our posting. Even if you question their loyalty to WSU. Even if another is not respectful to you, two wrongs does not make a right.

We are not enemies of each other or outsiders trying to stir the pot and should not be treated as such. Not everybody is going to have the same opinions. Deal with it! It is how well (and respectful) one can continue to present their reasoning for an opinion that carries weight with those of differing opinions. One's opinion, even if spot on, will lose weight and creditability if the thrust of the post is led by mud slinging or put downs over substance.

This post is not directed at any one poster as many of us have been guilty (and will again) of "bad form". The idea is to minimize it's occurrence and not over react to criticism or take it too personal.

I didn't accuse you of being an idiot, although assuming that my post was entirely pointed at you makes you appear that way. I was talking about those who would be 100% on either side of the argument, attempting to make it a black or white argument. Saying that he did NOTHING wrong would be just as much verbal diarrhea as saying that it's some sort of huge black eye that we should all be ashamed of and embarrassed to be associated with. Ironically, the very behavior you are condemning is the poor behavior you are exhibiting now. I wouldn't be surprised if Marshall said some of those same words out on the court.

Again, why am I being compared to Marshall? If you put me in his position, in his representative role, and given his assets, I promise to amend my behavior for the better good of the university.

Besides, I don't like being called a nut job for no other reason than thinking Marshall embarrassed himself and the university and actually committed a wrong.
