I'm just amazed how some of you believe that type of behavior is totally justified and ok and that you're a p**** if you thought it looked bad. Just mind-boggling stuff.

I guess I have a more unbiased view than I originally thought on here. And that's saying something.

The McGill AD also claims Marshall was verbally abusive to school employee, not a ref. If true, that is really uncalled for.

Gelinas described Marshall’s actions as intimidating and hostile and claimed that his rage continued after he left the game. According to Gelinas, Marshall wanted to stay close to the court so he could watch the game. He became hostile when he was forced to leave the court.
“There was another blowout, similar to what happened on the court,” Gelinas said. “He became quite aggressive. Foul language, nose-to-nose with one of my staff. My staff was not pushed or hit or anything like that. I’m not saying that. The attitude was quite aggressive, quite intimidating, using foul-language. Aimed at a staff who did not take part in the decisions on the court, in terms of the referee decisions.”

That's really not saying much, unless you're a big follower of women's gymnastics.

Might want to find the humor knob. Personally, I'm actually looking forward to JH4P's upcoming statistical breakdown of average annual ejections per game. Something fun to digest in August.

It's over. Marshall got the suspension he deserved. The university and the coach made statements that the behavior was not in line with expected decorum of the position. Probably time for everybody to move on, including those who don't think Marshall crossed a line.

This is why classes like Women's Studies, Feminist Dance Theory or pretty much anything in the Liberal Arts have ruined Universities. I'm sure this is how most of the Canadians that saw this reacted:

"Oh wow, Coach Marshall is like, one crazy hoser, eh. Either way, we like uh accept your apology, don'tcha know?" but the university rep just had to throw in the whole "we accept you're apology but we're traumatized" thing.

Had I turned on Sportcenter and saw Calipari or Coach K, or any other high profile coach overreacting at an exhibition game, I would probably just chuckle and not give it much more thought. I doubt this has any ramifications on the recruiting trail.

Boeheim has had some doozies, I don't think it's effecting his ability to recruit or work with Team USA.
