62-2 -- With its 109-83 win over Evansville, Wichita State improved to 62-2 at home in the past four years. That's the second best home winning percentage in that time behind Arizona (66-1).

Best part about that particular comparison is we hold the tie breaker

It's not as though we were losing to **** teams!! Louisville, Michigan State are damn near blue blood programs. And OSU is good and played out of their mind.
But, according to Lunardi, MSU is in danger of not making the tournament.

In their last game, Michigan St lost guard Eron Harris for the rest of the season due to a serious knee injury. He was 3rd in minutes and points for the Spartans and was 5-7, 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists against the Shocks this season. Also considered the senior leader of the team.

I'm not sure exactly how to put this, but he portrays a happy go lucky guy, and he probably is, but he has some looks on the court when he is knocking down shots that portray some attitude! I see a look of, "Did you like that? Did you like me pushing your stuff in? Because I'm gonna be doing it all night, *****!" Type of attitude.

                And we need that.

As @WuShock16 already pointed out, it is 4, hopefully going on 5 this year.

Also, it is 9 schools over the last 4. Might be 5 over the last 5, I didn't check, but that wouldn't include WSU, so I don't want to know. :-)

I mentioned to my friend last night that he has that "killer instinct" that was lacking at the beginning of the year.

Jerry Palm has the 25th-ranked Shockers among his 'First Four Out'

"Would the NCAA Tournament selection committee really leave Wichita State out of the Field of 68 if the Shockers are 29-5 on Selection Sunday and in need of an at-large bid?

Matt Norlander and I discussed that at the top of this episode of the Eye on College Basketball podcast and each acknowledged ... maybe. But we both agreed, gun to head, we don’t think they would -- mostly for the same reasons the selection committee didn’t leave Wichita State out last year, and that’s because the Shockers’ computer numbers, specifically their KenPom rating, is terrific. Wichita State was 24-8 on Selection Sunday last year and lacking so-called quality wins. But Gregg Marshall’s team was 21st in KenPom. So they got in. And right now they’re 13th at KenPom! Which is among the reasons I’ll be surprised if they don’t receive an at-large, should they need one on Selection Sunday."

                        • I like the fact that, in the media, people like Palm are the outliers now. Parrish has always been on our side, Norlander too for the most part. Eamonn Brennan from ESPN responded to a tweet asking how we could be a tournament team without the quality wins with, "Because they're good at basketball." Hell, even the Goob says we're a tournament team this year. The respect is there in the media. If only it were there on the Selection Committee.

Loved it. They spent a good 20 minutes talking WSU and pretty well came to the conclusion that you're a moron if you don't think the Shocks should get in the tourney.
