I believe he's some JUCO guy that Evansville picked up. He's supposed to be good, but you just don't put on an all-conference first team list first year guys without an ounce of proven ability, especially over guys like Duff and McIntosh. You just don't. ...Unless you're Evansville's beat reporter.

Memo to referees - please see that ShaQ is a preseason All-Valley player picked by media members who want to see him play. Just cuz he's big and other players bounce off him doesn't necessarily mean he fouled them. Please adjust your eyes this season and calibrate accordingly. Thank you!

Don't know if it was Bob Lutz's presence, but Gregg seemed totally agitated with not much good to say other than McDuffie's athletic talent. Poor defense, illness, injuries and lack of vocal leadership has him in a tizzy at the moment. Hopes things get ironed out in the next 3 weeks.

Talked with Gregg 2 days ago. He shared no such agitation with me. He seemed content, relaxed and confident of all things, including the team. Not without concerns, but far from agitated.
