Hearing Shaq is playing well is a great relief. We've been relatively soft inside since the Lufile-Coleby combination sent women and children running and screaming from arenas nationwide, and before that Hall-Orupke.

I'm really hoping that on some level, a light goes off for Shaq. He's been a part of the program the longest of any scholarship player, and this could/should be "his" team. He needs to step up and, given his past issues with staying motivated, I am hopeful he's the type of personality that he functions better when he's looked at as "the guy".
Shaq should be the best center in the league this year, I just can't think of a better one. He just needs to be able to stay on the floor and he'll be a 1st teamer.

I somewhat disagree. This doesn't need to be Shaq's team and he doesn't need to be THE guy. He needs to motor 100% and stay out of foul trouble. If he does that everything will fall in to place.
Anybody have any video of that Shaq Morris breakaway slam?

I don't really think this needs to be Shaq's team. I do think Shaq needs to think it's his team to get him to the point where he gives 100% for 100% of his minutes.

http://www.kansas.com/sports/ .. More mentions of the Canada trip here. Sort of odd also, 3G seems kind of deflated. The media basically keeps asking him "why Canada?" and his mood carries over to the situations around the world. He seemed to carefully avoid talking about why going to Europe isn't the best idea.
That was a beautiful moment, but I was very nervous to watch Shaq handle the ball in the open court. Haha. Not pretty, but it got the job done on that play.
EDIT: He covered a TON of ground quickly on that play. It took him one dribble to get from half court to the rim.

The talent level is higher than it's been in many years, including the last several.
I agree here, sans maybe the 13-14 team (besides Cleanthony Early, I think Nick Wiggins and Chadrack Lufile were very underrated). May take some time to get used to playing together and adjusting to life without Ron and Fred, but we are loaded at multiple positions.
