I look for Shaq to be a leader next season. His time has come.

I would like to see Shaq be a leader but until he can find a way to stay on the court I would prefer my leaders to lead from the front. :)I believe LS will be that leader for the next 4 years.

Ah, so Coach loves the mysteries of the Orient.

Coach Marshall said on one of his radio shows that Rio was pretty insightful.

I'm assuming he was talking about the trip to Rio de Janeiro a few year's back. I can't come up with anything else he may have been referring to.

I'm looking for Shaq to transform into an entirely different player next season. Just like JT Durley, it took him a couple of years for the light bulb to turn on, I'm thinking Shaq may take the same developmental road.

But in a lot of ways, Shaq is there. Fouls are really the only thing keeping him from what he could be.

For the record, I believe there's only so much he can do with regards to his conditioning. As someone who suffers from asthma, I could train as hard as I wanted but I still was on the bottom of the barrel with regards to lung capacity and the VO2 max thing. Don't know if he has it, but being such a big guy, I somehow doubt he can ever get in the shape some folks want him to.

Would it be useful to have one assistant coach or team manager or somebody at the practices call fouls only as they pertain to Morris and anybody else who is consistently prone to fouling? So many time we hear that fouls are not called at practice, but maybe Shaq, and perhaps others, need to have fouls called to learn not to do certain things.

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

Certain players are definitely told when they have committed fouls in practice.

As soon as the basketball program got great, now the baseball program is in a funk...

Seems a long time ago that we used to want Baseball to start to take our minds off of a terrible Basketball season...which was about the time conference games started.
