We can all say how much we care, and we sure do. However, FVV and Bake are living it first hand and did so on and off the court. What class they displayed on the court in their careers, and even as much class off the court as seen on this interview. They live it, they own it no matter what happens, and they set the bar at a new higher level for future Shockers.

Now players like Shaq can take younger Shocks under his wing as FVV did him. It can't be easy to set an example in the off-Season when the lights are not shining bright as they worked to improve their games. It also can't be easy to do interviews like this after an emotional loss when the lights are bright, but yet stay positive and on course as these 2 young men did today.

It is an understatement to say we will miss them but we sure will. However, the great examples they made both on and off the court will never be forgotten but rather forever cherished by Shocker fans everywhere.

Fred Van Vleet was coach Marshalls first four year floor general at Wichita State, Toure Murray is second as far as success, but I never considered him a true point guard, and we've seen our share of Juco and Transfer fill ins.. He put and kept us relevant and I for one hope he gets a shot at the pros... Basketball IQ is off the charts... Spurs?
