The amount of adversity this team has had to overcome all year has been ridiculous. Fred with his hammy, Anton with his spinal concussion which put fear into everybody's heart, losing Landry as well.. getting every team's best shot every night, not getting many breaks during a lot of our close losses.. It's just been crazy.

And here we were again tonight. A first half that ended up tied but it didn't seem like much went our way cause we couldn't make a freaking shot. But again the Shockers stepped up and did what they needed to do to win. Anton getting the ball at the end of the game is gonna be one of my favorite Shocker memories of all time.

I don't know how our next game is gonna go. It might be our last or it could be the second game of a nice run. But I do know that with all this team has gone through, they're not gonna go down without a fight.

You make some valid points. As we remember early on, we had 5 of our top 7-8 players injured or not eligible yet. Shamet was ahead of MM in the pecking order until he got injured. Maybe tonight showed the benefit that we had to rely on so many players deeper on the bench during these times but they were growing and progressing.

Tonight, our bench was sublime and in the 2nd half, our team confidence begin to bubble over and got into Vandy's brains as we overcame 1st half foul woes. If Vandy makes throws in the 1st half, it could have went right down to the wire.

Too lazy to look it up. I think it was about a 20 point win. If i remember right, we didn't make a single 3 point shot the whole game, though.

I'm so stoked about that win despite it being "just a play in game". Probably because it's been a while since I've seen some real Shocker basketball and that 2nd half was vintage. ON TO THE NEXT ONE!
