  • NCAA Tournament Viewing Options

Figured I would start a thread with ways for people to view the NCAA Tournament games rather than having it buried in the other threads.

    Options:
Stream from NCAA.com - I believe this is Free

March Madness App - This is available on most phones and tablets. I believe it was 10 bucks for the option to stream the whole tournament. I also think this is Chromecast compatible

SlingTV - If you have an Xbox, Roku, Firestick, or most other streaming devices, you can sign up for SlingTV. Its 20 bucks and will give you TNT, TBS and for 5 dollars more you add a package that gives you TruTV. Combined with OTA for CBS, that gives you all 4 channels for watching the games. If you don't already have it, you can get a 7 day free trial. That will give you access for the First Four and First weekend no cost. This is probably the easiest way for a cord cutter to watch the games on their big screen.

A tip for Sling TV - As long as you cancel and make a new account, you can sign up for the trial over and over. I've been doing that for about a month using an empty prepaid card.

Wichita Cox shows TruTV is channel 51 and 2051 in HD.

Dish says Tru TV is channel 252

Direct TV says Tru TV is channel 246.

I make no promises about this information, but my friend in Hutchinson on Cox pulled up 2051 and watched some program about puppies just now.

I'd suggest checking out the applicable option today so you don't get surprised tomorrow night.

Per NCAA.com, the March Madness App will be available on more platforms than last year.

Platform expansion – This year’s product will expand to 12 platforms – more than ever before –including desktop, Amazon Fire tablets, Amazon Fire TV, iPhone, iPad, Android handset, Android tablet, Windows handset, Windows desktop, Apple TV, Apple Watch, Roku players and Roku TV models. Exclusively for NCAA March Madness Live, fans watching via Apple TV can enjoy two live games at once with the Split Screen feature.

The non cbs channels are only free if you have a cable tv logon. However, you can get 3 hrs on the mobile app
