$50,000 buy-in? Hey...it's cheaper than posting bail for his team.

I hope ISUr gets into a postseason tourney and wins it all. I think it will bode well for the MVC and thus WSU. Next season I also expect UNI and ISUr to be preseason favorites ahead of WSU, which is arguably understandable whichever way the cookie crumbles.

UNI loses Washpun, Bohannon, and Jesperson. I think unfortunately they will take a step back next year.

They return some good players and had 5 freshmen redshirt. I don't think they'll be that bad.

Bennet Koch is a nice player, but WSU took him completely out of the game, so much so he did not play the last 19 minutes or so.

Turn that crew loose in Las Vegas, and bail may cost a lot more than $50,000.

Did Evansville and Loyola winning the CBI and CIT last year really help anything? I'm honestly asking because I don't know.

Lohaus is a good player too. They have some pieces coming back.

Wes Washpan makes that entire offense work. To add on losing your two best shooters, ypubare going to have to completely recreate yourself.

Yes mini Lohaus is a nice player, as is Carlson and bank-3s Morgan, but they are going to have a whole new identity next season.

HCBJ is a smart guy, but I expect a drop off like they had when they lost their Sweet Sixteen players, at least for a couple seasons.

Also look at ISUb the season after they surprisingly won Arch Madness, they played in the playin game the very next season.

To be fair, a lot of people expected a similar fall off this year for UNI. I think UNI will be worse next year, but I'm not sure I'd predict a play-in game. The MVC is bad.

I kind of like the idea of a Vegas Tourney replacing one of these other C section affairs. Especially if it could be a round robin pool play where you were guaranteed a couple of games.
