Remember Pepper Gomez as a publicity stunt was letting others hit his abs of steel with all their might. Then he allowed a villain to jump from the top rope and missed landing on this gut and on his throat on purpose (please!!! I know) and he flopped around like a chicken with no head and lived to wrestle soon thereafter.

Was it Swanson that did the Pile driver on Rufus? How did they not break necks doing that technique? Yikes!!! Then there was the Nature Boy Rick Flair Hulk Hogan, Dusty Rhodes, etc. Loved it back then but don't watch it anymore. Back then, the talk before and after was most entertaining acting to me. Then, there were sightings after the matches that the enemies were eating supper together later after just knocking each others brains out.
