IMO, it is not Ashley's doing. It is the WSU Athletic/Marketing department. Perhaps a very gracious e-mail to Ashley thanking them for support Shocker basketball with a suggestion that you would appreciate the even more if they would sponsor a band piece the the time out with the Band palying a raucus hell-raising piece and the scoreboard showing somehting like:

THIS WILD AND CRAZY TIMEOUT BROUGHT TO YOU BY ASHELY FURNITURE

and the Ashley Furniture name and logo flashing brigtly on the digital signs above the vomitories.

Yea! We sat just above the band for the game today and it was awesome to watch the director bring them down in volume while the promotions were going on and then as soon as the promotions were done, kick into high gear. My son is going to school to study music at WSU in a year. It was great for him to be able to see and hear what went on. So, in agreement with the rest of you way to go Band!!!

The band kept playing the Low Brass Cheer all the way through the Ashley Furniture Shootout.

As well as pretty much all the other promotions.

The band also played the national anthem and that got us off to an even better start volume wise for the game.

Someone at WSU needs to pay a visit to Senseney Music and talk them into sponsoring the Pep Band Playout Timeout.
