I feel kinda bad for Bush Wamukota. Not only for the way his career has panned out, but he's barely even a footnote in this upcoming event. You could not have more contrasting careers when they highlight Ron and Fred - and a lesser extent Evan, and then we have Bush Wamukota.

Thought about that....and yet I have no doubt that Shocker fans will recognize Bush warmly, if not maybe a little sadly for what might have been...who knows?

I know this....I'll admit I teared up reading the articles this morning. HOPE FOR A GREAT DAY!

It'd be cool if they just got the job done with the two tomorrow, but I just never ever get real confident with how this athletic department handles things. It should be something beyond way-over-the-top but they'll somehow waste the opportunity and make it very plain.

I hope to be proven wrong but I'm not holding my breath.

I don't know what the protocol is for retiring a jersey but I bet it has to go through a "process" now. As in all things now days I bet there is a committee that has to give its approval and on and on. It would be nice to see but I would be willing to bet someone else's left one that this doesn't happen until later on. But still a cool thought.

Did I just hear the Shocks have beat the Redbirds 14 out of the last 16 here on our home court. Nice win on Senior Day and I quickly understood that while all Senior Days are special to us, this one was obviously my favorite group ever deep down where it counts.
