MK probably not. He is old school and pretty calm and collected. I like enthusiasm though. I love calls like THE GIANTS WIN THE PENNANT! and Gus' work over the years. But guys like MK and Denny for The Royals just don't get too high and I enjoy just listening to them bask in the moment.
No, MK acts like he's been there before...and he has....many times.
"I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. I like to win more than 99.9% of the people in this world, but he may top me." -- Gregg Marshall 12/23/13 :peaceful:
--------------------------------------- Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare: "We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".
A physician called into a radio show and said: "That's the definition of a stool sample."
But when he gets excited, you know it. Tekele bring the lumber comes to mind. As do many moments with FVV.
The Tekele "Bringin the lumber" call was Bruce Haertl, not MK
I'm not a big fan of the Stevens/Haertl duo, but the combined call of Tekele's monstrous slam at Illinois State was outstanding. Spontaneous, energetic,
concise. An all-time favorite call for me, and will wear well over time, I'd say
I remember being in the car, hearing MK say, "Wichita State is going to the Final Four!" He only said it once, because he's a pro, and he knows that the listening audience is not composed of morons. What a great memory.

And it was prefaced with another great line: "Say it slowly and savor it"
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind. ~Dr. Seuss
