  • Home Records Since 2009 Season

During the KU-Iowa State game I saw a stat that Iowa State was 55-4 since 2012 season began so it got me thinking.

I wanted to see how we compared. I wasn't able to find a site with the data easily available so I used Warren Nolan to go individually by School and then by Season. Here is what I cam up with since 2009 season began(easiest data to get).

    Kentucky 114-4
    KU 110-4
    Duke 105-6
    Wichita State 101-8
    Gonzaga 94-10
    Arizona 102-11
    VCU 95-12
    North Carolina 96-16
    Wisconsin 99-17
    Michigan State 92-17
    Creighton 97-20
    Iowa State 96-20

I just did the schools I could think of with usually really good home courts. I may go back and look at other schools.

If anyone knows of another site that would have this easily available that would be great.

New Mexico is a historically tough home court, though they have been inconsistent the past few years.

North Carolina Central has a pretty good streak going, not sure how far back it goes

They're pretty awful this year, that streak was broken.

          Thanks for the post, Russ
Kenpom has season data back to 2002, and would be as easy to use as Warrennolan, if not easier
Dominance is a state of mind.

yeah, you'd have to click on the year, the team, and count them manually from that screen
tediuous, for sure, but doabled. probably not your definition of easily available

One of the Louisiana schools was tied with us this year until they lost a game. Was it Lafayette?

Wow, that is really impressive! I knew we were tough at home, but that's kind of amazing!!

                      Thanks for posting!

Stepehen F Austin is another one with a pretty good home record the past few years, although it may only be the last 3-4 that they've been good

SFA has been really good recently. They had 3 home losses in '10-'11 and 3 more in '11-'12. Only 1 home loss since.

Gotta keep this win streak going to get that under an average of 1 home loss per year.

It really is a lot of fun that I haven't walked back to my car disappointed in almost 3 years.

                            Enjoying the ride!

LaTech -- Guess they finally decided that the men should try to emulate some of their outstanding women's teams of bygone years.
