The first game of Round 9 has now tipped off.

If you thought you would make up ground in the standings in this set of games, think again. Everyone correctly picked the same 4 teams in these first four games and used 9 points to do so. There was division on who tomorrow night's winner would be, but everyone put 1 point on it.

I think the next set of games should be a bit more challening and offer opportunity for movement in the standings.

28 members picked Evansville and 27 members picked SIU. Regardless of who you picked in the contest which team losing would benefit the Shocks the most. At this point I guess you might say SIU since they only have 1 loss. OTOH I think SIU has a tougher schedule over the last half vs either Evansville or WSU so maybe getting another loss for Evansville my be best looking forward.

BTW, you're right about the next batch of games being much tougher to pick. I don't see any slam dunks in that group of games.
