    Holy non-con schedule, Batman.

Sometimes, I am very sad about the injuries in November. I'm pretty certain we would be #1 in the country right now.

Other times, I am reminded of 2013, and that often things work out the way they should in the end. Who knows if we would have unleashed McDuffie if not for the injuries.

I don't understand. How come we're not #1 anyway with all those quality loses? Must be because they don't count as much if you have key injuries.

Great point, ST -- if only Seton Hall hadn't lost to Creighton. That took some of the quality shine off that loss.

              Thanks for the work, rip.

Have you thought about adding the official NCAA RPI figures to your metric table?

Hard to imagine over four days in which you only have a win can drop you 67 spots in Overall SOS (49 to 116), 8 spots in NonCon SOS (7 to 15 and you didn't play a NC team) and 15 spots in ranking (37 to 52). What gives Lunardi?!?!?!

Lunardi is becoming more and more like Jerry Palm every day. Get drunk and throw darts at a wall.

I thought Lunardi had WSU at 25 on his S-curve? How does that square with a ranking of #52 -- is there a typo buzzing around here somewhere?

                      I think that's ESPNs RPI, not Lunardi's S-Curve

The more of Lunardi I see the less I like

I'll add the NCAA RPI. The only reason I left it out is Realtime RPI uses the same RPI formula as the NCAA, so the number should always be the same, plus Realtime RPI provides SOS, which the NCAA doesn't. I'll also switch the Realtime metric from RPI to their Power Rating, which includes additional information (such as winning margin) in the formula. The Realtime Power Rating Rank for WSU is currently 25, and the SOS Rank is 101.

That is correct. It is not the Lunardi S-curve, but rather the ESPN RPI. My impression is Lunardi is the top RPI guy for ESPN, and that's the reason I listed it as Joe Lunardi. I only included Lunardi because so many people seem to follow his Bracketology (I don't), so it might be interesting to see if his numbers jibe. Also, even though Lunardi supposedly uses the same RPI formula as the NCAA, with daily updates, his RPI number never seems to match the NCAA number, so he must be using a different formula, but I don't know what it is. Lunardi also provides all the SOS numbers.
