  • Saturday vs Bradley

Ok, here's the deal. We as fans demand quite vocally a lot from our beloved Shockers. The last home game, we didn't hold up our end of the deal. We expect the players to bring their A game every night. It's our turn. Time for us to put up or shut up. Granted, Saturday's opponent doesn't lend well to a lot of pre-game hype, but we need to give them the Creighton treatment. Arrive early, be loud, ride their asses, ride the officials. Blow the freakin roof off the place! If you're sitting near some slugs, call them out! I would like nothing less than Bradley to feel beaten before warmups are over. We've done it before, we can do it again!

I have always hated that sitting down after the first made basket for the other team thing... anyway to kill that and just stand up and be effing loud for a whole half?

This is a very good point. There are only 6 or 7 home games left this season, I think. If that is correct that means that Fred, Ron, Evan will only be playing in Koch Arena these 6 or 7 more times. We fans need to do everything possible to make these remaining games are very special and memorable for these very special guys. They deserve everything that we can do to make their remaining games at Koch to be very special ones. I can tell you my eyes are tearing up as I type this thinking that we're down to about a handful of games at Koch with these superb young men.

Sorry but this just me laugh. Thought it fit in here as well as anywhere else.

We could stage this same scene and call it "ShockerNet BayBay"

We could have our own Tyrone Shoelace with a juicy bionic burrito hanging out of his mouth doing crossovers with Kung Wu's autographed Shocker basketball while also switching hands trying to enjoy some stale nachos from Rosewood. Foes would miss throws with all of this commotion going on.

Hell, from what few Shockernetters I've met, we could just stand there shaking our canes and rattling our walkers at them yelling "Get off my lawn!"

Did not want to start a new topic but it did start out talking about sitting/standing etc. A buddy of mine called me and wants me to put my coats over his seats because he will get to the game just about tip off time. Why you ask? One of his customers got to the last game and several students with GA tickets were sitting in his Season Pass assigned seats. They refused to move and when he got the usher to remove them he was called a racist by the I would assume foreign engineering students sitting in his seats. We sit in section 114 and when GA ticket holders can't find a seat or look for better seats they just sit where they want. Never heard of someone being verbally assaulted for trying to claim what was theirs. Just amazes me. He is a large man and I think if they would have called me a racist for trying to sit in my own seats I would not have had the same restraint.

It wasn't their race he took objection to, it was their JOB! He's a jobcist!!

Wonder what they would have done had your friend been black. Usher should have called over security, got their IDs, reported them to their dean.

In all fairness I made the assumption they were engineers since most foreign students don't come to WSU to study literature.

My boss came through and gave me tickets to this game. I've had these tickets before. They are in section 118, pretty close to the band and the student section. The old man in front of me that hated me standing and yelling for the team is going to hate me even worse this time around.

I wonder if this is the same grumpy old man that yelled at my family and I "down in front!" During the IBA game this year. It's a Shocker basketball game sir, not a Creighton game.

His wife and her friend sat directly in front of me this time. He and what appeared to be his son sat right in front of them. They had a couple of little circle jerk "trying to be sneaky but looking nothing more than snarky" conversations and shaken heads, and I just cheered louder. Eff them.
