Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the Bradley game tomorrow.

However, I do predict their will be two major league slam dunks. However, they will occur at halftime when Conor Gillaspie and Emily Stockman are inducted into the Shocker Hall of Fame.

I would like to encourage everyone to stay in their seats for that and give those two great Shockers the recognition they deserve.

Looking at Flightaware I noticed a charter from Peoria to ICT was scheduled for 5pm departure but had not left yet. It appears that a replacement aircraft is being flown in and the Braves are now expecting an 11pm departure not arriving here until after midnight. I can't imagine they will be in bed until after 2am. Bad deal for a young team. Wonder how that will affect the spread.

I'm not sure about that, but won't argue it either, as I did say outside of a couple of games. And maybe it's partly just because I had too high of hopes for him and just haven't seen much of what I'd hoped to see.

My prediction...the 30 point spread is too high. We will see lots of subs and it will stay in the 20 to 25 point margin.

Sometimes, even when the Shocks do wholesale subbing, even our subs get hot which results in no slack for our foes down here at 21st and Hillside. Other times, FVV has to drain 2- 25' shots in a row at the end before the shot clock expires, even at their barns.

This might be a real drag for our foes, but way back when, we were not nearly this good, many of these same Programs sure had no issues doing the same to us. We are rehearsing for a dance, a Big March Dance, so we must and will carry on the prep work to get there and succeed. Today, we continue the trek. It will be cheery and productive. Winning is great fun and times were not always this successful for the Shocks.
