WSU Versus Bradley Predictions and Pregame Discussions

We have to be happy with our guard rebounding. Last night, Baker leads our team with 7 and FVV had 6. They play lots of minutes but that stat is indeed impressive. FVV had 6 assists and only 1 turnover in 32 minutes. MM lead our team with 2 steals in that game and I love that corner shot of his. I can live with .824 on throws as our Shocks did last night and only 9 turnovers and outrebounded them by 10. We want to go undefeated in the Valley and these are qualities of a team of warriors both at home and on the road that know how to win. Young Bradley is in deep trouble this weekend but I hope they improve as a team thereafter.Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

KenPom's formula predicts 71-46. I find it interesting that he predicts such a relatively low score for the Shox. I would have expected closer to 80. Looking closer, neither team tends to play a very fast tempo in general, and the 85 points on 67 possessions in the game at Bradley a few weeks ago was one of the most efficient performances WSU has had on offense all year.

Bradley Game
I want to see Anton Grady quit making the silly fouls; the kind that a senior should know better than to make! He had 3 fouls in the game with UNI. One was a reaching over the back for a rebound. Another one was trying to reach around from the side against their Center, & the 3rd one was somewhat forgivable, but why chase a fast guard around on the perimeter that close? We need Grady to be more productive. Maybe the fact he missed so much time earlier in the season for a new team for him has slowed his getting used to playing at WSU in the overall scheme of things, so he tries too hard. But, I'm confident that 3G & his staff can help him correct these sort of things.

WstateU... good find on that pic. Grady has the best "totally shocked to be called for a foul" face of any Shocker I can remember. I've lost count how many times I've seen him with that exact same reaction.
If he were on any other Valley team, this board would mock him mercilessly as a whiner. I wish he would go a little more toward the Baker/VanVleet route and just save his complaining for the occasions where it is truly warranted.

With that said, I love how Grady gets position. He's very good at that.
