  • WSU Versus Bradley Predictions and Pregame Discussions

Here's the deal. Isn't winning grand? So our next home win this week will be #41 in a row but who is counting? FSF is wound up tighter than a base drum so why not bang out a prediction thread?

Rewind with me on a sentimental Shocker Journey to what makes X-Man play angrier than angry. Enter Bradley Coach Dick Versace who suggested that we could be padding X-Man's rebounds. Soon, X-Man cleaned glass slicker than snot and had around 20 rebounds at Peoria with them counting them. SHHHH!! Just as our foes are eager for Baker and FVV to graduate, remember Hersey Hawkins and Jim Les playing together at Bradley and both later played in the NBA? Hersey scored 63 points versus Detroit for Bradley and was a very solid Pro. They were both tough and I shed no tear-drops when they graduated.

Now we fast-forward to the here and now. Never in my born days have I seen so many Freshmen on one team. Brian Wardle is earning his keep and will need time to build their Program.

The Shocks are getting their groove on and have not at all peaked yet. Tonight was a nice 19 point road surpass that I still think most Valley teams will not also get. Does Conner and MM have a green light? Does a hobo like a ham sandwich? Is a pigs behind pork? These 2 are really sparking our Shocks. And what about our dynamic duo, Baker and FVV? No wonder our foes are raring for them to graduate. We will as Shocker fans relish every bit of this Season to remember because just how often have we had 2-All American guards playing for us at the same time? Our Shocks continue to break records and winning is indeed grand. We win by 22. Everybody plays and we improve as a team. 2-p.m. game start this coming Saturday.

    Beloved Shocks-- 65

I'm afraid it might be a lot uglier than that. We just beat UNI and SIU by 19 and 25 in their houses and we've already beaten Bradley by 27 at their place.

This is a game where there is danger of hanging 100 on somebody. John Robert Simon and the Orlando lineup might play most of the second half.

This should be a 40 point margin of victory over a team with only two D1 wins. We'll be so far ahead, coach will pull RB, FVV, and Grady with 15 minutes left in the game and give our far end bench players some time to play. Bradley will be able to trim the lead down to 28 and then game over.

By the way, I thought they were supposed to be the Gargoyles.

So this will be our first of 9 sweeps I hope, in Valley play.

Note to self, WSU has 7 home games left and 5 road games. WSU owns wins over all of the top of the current MVC standings and is about to embark on a stretch that includes a lot of BAD teams at home.

The "tough" road games left are Evansville, Indiana State and Illinois State...

Unfortunately these next two games are gonna drop our RPI fairly hard. And just when we're getting ready to crack the 20's again...

            Thanks MVC!

Btw, our non-con SOS is currently ranked 3.

This is going to be one of those games that the margin of victory is whatever HCGM wants it to be. I am not sure what that number is, but anything less than 30 will be a "moral victory" for Bradley. My goal is 40% off at Tad's.
              Go Shocks!

Valuable experience for the young guys. I would love to see Hamilton and Nurger put up some relatively big numbers in this one.

                    A bloodletting.

Hopefully Wardle gets the ship righted over in Peoria soon, because if we do end up stuck in the MVC then a strong Bradley is imperative to the future of the conference.

In Marcellus' defense, the guy did try to feel him up. Or down. Or something unnatural. At best he was practicing for the next cuddle party.
