The “Antlers” at Missouri were always horrible to KU players and coaches… nothing was ever held back by those low life SOB’s.

I'm sure I have as large a distaste for the majority of the ku fan base as anyone out there, but that Antler group was so far out of bounds it's not even funny. They were not only an embarrassment to Missouri and everyone associated with the school, but human beings in general. That was a sick, awful, hideous group of losers.

I will never understand how the school allowed that to go on for all those years.

The CU fans were right on top of the players, mothers, fathers and sisters were all fair game with those ****ers, the NIU fans are amatuer hecklers in comparison.

I remember seeing a tweet from someone at KWCH probably three years ago before our game @Creighton, and it showed a picture of a cheat sheet they had for heckling our players. So I believe it.

Lol, I have friends that are UNI, Iowa, and Iowa State fans. I can have an intelligent basketball convo w/ Iowa and Iowa St fans, but man UNI fans are clueless homers. I had fun asking many of them around me yesterday how it felt losing at home to Loyola.

I wonder why you didn't have a good experience with the Panther fans? That's pretty bad in their house.

I've had the misfortune of knowing, thankfully not well, two individuals like the two morons who most likely frequently get their kicks off uttering insulting comments like the "No Mom Tom" and/or the "How did you feel losing at home to Loyola" statements. The common thread with these types of individuals is that they simply never know when to keep their big mouths tigtly shut. In some circles, it is often referred to as the "The Death Wish Syndrome."

In the two cases I knew about, both frequently ended up getting the crap knocked and kicked out of them. One ended up being crippled for life, and the other was found hanging by a rope in his apartment. My understanding is that he likely hung himself.

At least these latter two idiots were certainly not braver, but perhaps a little smarter as they shouted out on their 'brilliant' little wittisms on their home court, and not at an away game such as at Koch. After all, It certainly would be a pity if such a visitor ended up tripping on his departure or something similar?

Just saying, and certainly not insinuating, that even visitors such as the two mentioned above to Koch would be treated in anything but in the most genteel quality, and manner 'that they deserve'.

After all, we are all gentlemen and ladies, and as such, law abidding citizens and shockerneters.

Just watched the replay. I didn't know Paul Savage did basketball. I saw a high school football broadcast where Gardner-Edgerton was playing. Paul never, ever got it out without dropping a vowel.

Perhaps I should have just simply stated that there is no place either on their home court and certainly not on an opponents home court for a comment like the individual made about the recent death of an opposing team's player's mother.

I fully agree with Freedom of Speech, but that when an individual purposefully insults another person's family member in the manner this was done, there is no telling what may happen. As we have witnessed at numerous sporting events through the years, sometimes it does not take much to set off an individual or even a crowd. And as I stated, this particular guy was smart enough to do it in his own arena.

There have been several cases in BB, especially in the NBA, where stars have gone into the stands after fans for insults they have heedlessly hurled at them.

I am certainly not condoning this, but neither am I condoning these idiots who hurl these vicious insults. They should be barred, in my opinion, from all future games.

It's not even a freedom of speech issue. Its a private, ticketed event. The host has every right to expect attendees to meet a minimum level of respectable behavior.

Considering we are talking about a college event, not even a pure professional entertainment venue, I find it amazing that universities put up with such garbage.
