I listened to Mike and Bob, planning to watch the replay before I started my day at work. Between the awful PXP and the glitchy replay I gave up and started work early. CBSsports showed the highlights last night so I was able to see Ron's halfcourt shot, the MM breakaways and Fred's parting gifts. Gary Parrish had nice things to say about the Shocks as well. Paraphrasing, he said that the Shocks won't get as high a seed as they would have without the early losses but nobody will be happy having to face them.

Sheesh. I just tried to watch the replay of the game. Any of you that were able to listen to those clowns for the entire broadcast have my respect. What did you do to stop the ear bleeding?

It was VERY HARD. I didn't know WHEN TO GET excited and when THEY WERE just TALKING about RANDOM irrevelant stats. Lack of VOLUME CONTrol

I will say that Jacob Albreicht (sp) seems pretty sharp. I do like his addition to the morning radio show.

Was about 10 rows behind the Wichita bench, and got to watch a UNI student from the student section continuously try picking fights w/ WSU fans behind the bench. Just another example of the class of UNI fans. Got so bad, cops ended up coming to sit behind the bench.

Most everything already said so not much to add. MORE from CF. He passes up a lot of
good shots ( for him ) and opportunities to create ones. I openly admit I like RN so I will
toot his horn again. I don't think there has been a FG scored against him in three, maybe
four games. He has been running the high pick and roll pretty well and giving us good minutes
on both ends of the court. Never tries to do to much or do anything stupid and is becoming an
important part of our deep bench. How many teams have a CF or MM on the bench?

RN shoould spend the entire warmup shooting FTs instead of shooting 3-balls at a rate of near 10% ( in warmup).

Of course you were there and I’m trying to watch with a beer in one hand and a pizza in the other; and also being entertained reading the Shockernet ‘game thread’ on my iPad. Multitasking 101. So take this FWIW; I may be totally off base.

Baker seemed pissed about something after he made the half-court shot (I thought he glared at the student section) and that could have been the reason. Fred appeared to be having an interesting conversation with Matt Bohannon after fouling him on the 3-ball; not sure, but it might have been some ‘smack talk’ between them? Did Fred even touch Bohannon on the shot? When Fred was trying to run out the clock and swished both bombs, the earlier exchange between them immediately came to mind. The unruly fan might have played a part in the final outcome also… like “take that mother******s!”

This Shocker team is more likely to go one and done in the Big Dance than make the Final Four.

Just mathematically isn't this true about every team in the tournament, save the 1s and 2s? 32 teams go 1 and done, 4 make the final 4... 32>4.

I thought it was a flop myself at full speed, but i have no idea. I do have to say though that was the most intense I've seen Bakes play in a long time... something had to have gotten to him.

I wasn't at the game, but I believe someone in the thread that was there mentioned that the student section was saying something about Audrey (Ron's Sister). No idea what.

Amen. At the ISU game, I couldn't believe that all he did was jack up 3's in warmup... how about some post moves and FT's big guy? :-)
