  • Feels great to back in the win column. My thoughts:

    1. Fred. A 70% Fred is our best PG by a mile. Amazing what a difference he makes.
    2. Glad HCGM reads Shockernet. More Simon, less Taylor. And more Ron at the 2.
    3. Shaq is back. Glad 3G didn't let Shockernet hand Shaq his walking papers. We need him to be succesful.
    4. Brown is so much better when he can be relagated to the 4th or 5th option. Nice game tonight.
    5. Evan back to doing Evan things.
    6. Fred again. Look what happens when Fred plays. Everyone goes back to their roles and the pieces fall back in place.
    7. Nurger looked like a D1 player tonight. He may take over for Wamukota afterall.

Looking forward to seeing Conner play next game. Good night.

    • I love Gregg Marshall but if we had held Fred out until Florida but I can't help but think we would be 6-1 or 5-2. 20-20?
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

Why dwell on that. He admitted he made a mistake.

Yes he did and I still love him. Don't tell my wife.

No doubt. We'd have a loss to Tulsa and MAYBE 2-1 or at least 1-2 in Florida. Fred would have been enough to win against USC or Bama for sure but it always depends on who you end up playing against.

Possibly because going 0-3 in a season tournament, especially losing to teams like Iowa and Alabama which we should have handled easily, will not look good to the selection committee come seeding time, meaning we will have a tougher road to face in the tournament. Pretty simple if you ask me. We'll make the tournament, no doubt, but I can understand how some people can still be frustrated by it or dwell on it.

It is what it is though, everybody has a different opinion

                    1) Agreed. Best PG in country and no further discussion necessary.
                    2) Agreed. Been in program for 3 years and knows what (and how) the man in charge wants things done.
                    3) We'll see. Was good tonight, but had favorable match up. As said before, never really know what is rolling around in his cranium.
                    4) Agreed. Not ready to be the bell cow, but progressing.
                    5) OK.
                    6) Ditto. As said, no further discussion necessary.
                    7) Once again, had favorable match up. Jolly doesn't exactly strike fear into the heart of opposing coaches.

Bush shot his night when he reached down to pick up the loose ball and the STL kid dove for and got it. HCGM almost blew a gasket and the Bush was done.

                    That is all.
Above all, make the right call.

                    • Easy to look back and say should of, could of. Marshall admitted he should held him out but Fred said he was good to go and we know now he wasn't. Lesson learned, just glad to have him back with Conner waiting on the wing. Best news also is that Grady will be back sooner than later. What a difference a week makes. Next week will be a huge week, fans need to bring it. I'm sure we will.

Wednesday sets up to be the best atmosphere in a while.

                          - Fred back
                          - Conner probably playing
                          - Back on a winning track
                          - Good opponent

Ingredients are there. I think the place will be rocking
"He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!

I am 99.999999% confident that the environment at Koch and then Intrust will be palpable. We may just blow the roof off of Koch.

                            Koch will be shaking
                            The rafters will be rattling
But it won't be due to seismic activity.

                            • Fred.

                              Everything changed.

I like Ty's line. All donuts. I say this with praise. He only played two minutes, but it was under control.
