No. Coercion, or even the faintest appearance of such is the last thing that needs to happen right now. It is expressly forbidden by the NCAA. He'll be eligible soon. No need to go making things messy over 1 game in December.

I sincerely hope that no one except Conner approaches the professor in all honesty. Having the student request it is one thing, having administration push for it, is something entirely different and borders on "special" treatment.

There is no rule against Conner making arrangements for it to get done early. The rules probably prevent the administration or coach from pressuring the teachers to do it if they don't want to.

When we went to the Final Four, I had professors move a test so I could attend, they all did so happily and were excited for us to be able to go. Allowing him to take his test early seems similar to me. I would say most professors are WSU fans too and are happy to help in ethical ways (like getting a grade in more quickly than normal).
