As I understand the rules, unless those professors offer the same opportunity to every one of their students, that could be considered an improper benefit.

As I understand the rules, unless those professors offer the same opportunity to every one of their students, that could be considered an improper benefit.

I believe the professors are allowed to let students take tests early on a case by case basis. I know I took a few early in my college days due to needing to go out of town. Also since normally Finals are not held at the same time slot as the class, that opens it up for conflicts that are not expected (IE a MWF 8:30 am class might have their final at Tuesday at 2 pm.)

CF has what... probably 4-6 professors/instructors this semester? At least one of them will grandstand in some glorious middle-finger message towards the WSU athletic department in this situation. One of them will be of such a level of self-importance that he or she will screw this whole thing up.

I had this thought as well. An "education is more important then sports" mindset (not that it isn't) and an "I'm not giving any student special treatment" stance.

Hope I am wrong. Most professors I had were okay when I wanted to take exams early. It's when you want to take them later is when they are hesitant!

Actually, final grades could be entered starting Tuesday December 1st. Many faculty members, if they give final exams, may give them this week and enter grades right away (so break starts earlier for them). Others use finals week and enter grades the following week (by 10pm the 15th).
