I feel terrible for both Fred and Landry. And to an extent the rest of the team and the coaches. But they still get to compete and influence results. They've all work exceedingly hard to get to a place where the ultimate goal is the ultimate goal.

Fred is so competitive and Landry looked great early. I feel bad for those guys and I hope they make a full recovery and get to reach their own goals.

He is struggling on both ends, and hasn't even appeared to be Mr. Hustle this year. I'm not sure if it's just more difficult to notice because of his change of position or what, but our human floor burn needs something to get his mojo going.

I burnt my eligibility 20 years ago when I was offered and accepted free cream cheese spread for my bagel by a friend of mine with season tickets. I would never want to get my beloved Alma Mater in trouble because I received impermissible benefits from a booster. Oh and there was that "private dance" thing with the $100 hooker, but since we snuck out the window and never paid the ho, that doesn't count right?

The sky is not falling as I 100% expect the Shockers to have a very good season. When learning about Fred's injury a couple weeks ago I knew (like a lot of you) that we would struggle and was not confident about this weekend at all. My biggest concern going forward is that I don't think we're going to get a 100% healthy Fred VanVleet for his senior season. We will however develop a lot of new talent and by the time the Valley Tournament starts we will be a FORCE!
