We could not press with Fred in the game and we couldn't execute when he was not in the game.

This is very true, for as much as Fred gives us on offense, he was not able to properly defend tonight. Guys drove around him causing help to have to come and he couldn't close out fast enough. He had to leave quite a gap on his man. By no means putting blame on him, because he more than made up for it on the other end.

We have heard how hard this team works in practice. Guess we will see how they practice when faced with some adversity. I think we will be ok

Congratulations to Tulsa. They played really well tonight.

Grady, Baker, Shamet (got a terrible whistle) had the best performances. FVV played well too given he's obviously not 100% healthy.

Rashard, Evan, Shaq had their moments both ways.

Hamilton didn't play enough to make too much of an impact.

The rest of the guys didn't have their best game tonight.

I thought coming in this game could be a loss, so I'm not worried. however, if someone of these guys don't step up, next week in Orlando might not be as fun.

Ultimately, it's not where everyone is at now though, it's where they are at in March

Because he agreed that 8-10 drop is reasonable and gave his reasoning. That doesn't add up to 26, at least according to my public school math.

Not a good night for our bench, to say the least. Was really dissapointed in Morris and Brown, they just didnt seem to have their head in it. When Marshall made his first substitution of the night with Brown, Shamet, and Morris we had about 3 turnovers in a row that led to points. Tulsa had a great game plan and shot the 3 ball really good, and they didnt really turn the ball over. Ron played 39 minutes and Fred gave a great effort but you can tell he isn't 100%. Grady had a good game, our starters played decent but the bench didnt come through and that will have to get better, and hopefully sooner than later as we will need it in Orlando playing 3 games in four days.Long season and we will get better but we need Fred at 100% before we get in the thick of our schedual.

Have I ever been known to speak to quick? Don't answer that. Actually, I know our bench will be much more effective than tonight. Yes, it is early and Tulsa with their 9 Seniors deserve some credit and will have a solid Season. Even so, we plan on beating them another 7 or more in a row now.
