Ty was VERY impressive with his wide open jump shots. Automatic. When someone guards him, however it seems like he rushes through it. He basically puts his full body into his shots, so hopefully he'll start attack the basket when the defenders close out on him. Great depth and guard play ahead (him and Frankamp will provide them with great depth as 1s and guys who can also slide over to the 2) Shamet looks like he's the real deal. He'll hit plenty of big shots this year
I was torn between Markis and Ty. I think Ty needs live action under Fred and McD will benefit from time. However, Ty needs to fix his shot, so...
You are right. Ty hit some impressive shots and played well. However, he hit all three from the top of the key. I don't think he will hit 75% of his 3 pointers on a regular basis. He has some fine potential but I have a feeling that we wouldn't be recruiting another JC point guard if Gregg had total confidence in his play. I'm not convinced that Ty is a pure point guard either. He will learn the system this year and that will help him in the future.

Conner

Ty/Markis
Conner is the wild card as I'm basing that on no game play yet. I also hope Markis makes Coach give him more minutes, just not seeing it right now. Ty is the enigma to me right now, he's a guy who could battle for minutes, or he's a guy who could slowly just ride off into the sunset for the remainder of the season when Conner comes back and Fred gets to 100.
Agree mostly with kai's list. If MM does not RS I think he will jump into the top ten ahead of EH.
Like EH's upside potential also though. I suspect MM not playing last game has more to do with
him not grasping offensive sets/execution/ court sense than his talent BUT, and I say BUT, that
is PURE speculation on my part.
