I thought one of the more telling statements was Marshall saying all 4 Fr came "ready to play". Marshall isn't known for saying new players are ready to play. He's kind of on the opposite end of the scale on that subject.

To some it may be a jab but it followed quotes where GM described CF as the best shooter that he's ever coached in 31 years. He's actually just trying to be "fair and balanced".

I caught that too. It makes me wonder what "knuckleheads" have come and gone without any commentary. I don't know and have never met Derail Green, but one thing that sticks out in my memory was during an interview with Sullentrop. The questions were standard basketball (who do you emulate, strengths and weaknesses) and get to know you (music/hobbies). Paul pulled out a curve ball on Derail and asked him his favorite book; Green replied, "Goosebumps." That's 6th grade level reading, and it always made me curious about the young man.
