@GoodmanESPN: I like this argument, but right now I’ll take Baker and VanVleet. https://t.co/ytzrsQv3lx
Did KState sign some really good recruits I didn't know about? I have a direct comparison for the other backcourts in Kansas, so I'm trying to figure this out.

When the game against KU was over, I texted my (at the time) girlfriend "That was better than I possibly could have imagined." And even now it's the gift that keeps on giving.. Despite a head to head result, people like this still argue otherwise. Only now, everyone outside of the KU bubble knows how stupid and delusional they are.

I guess our front court must have been the difference. Or coaching!

That phrase, when uttered in such a manner as above, is like the scarlet letter of a KU fan who probably can't blink and breathe at the same time. So is a Twitter handle like the one utilized by that Rhodes Scholar.

Ha, but even ******* said "right now I'd take VanVleet and Baker", right? I think that's as close to having him on our side as we're going to get :P

He also said "I like this argument" in a case where there isn't just a bad case to be made, there literally is no argument.

Yeah they are in quite a catch 22. If they want to say their backcourt is better, then I guess they have to say Darius Carter and Evan Wessel are better than Perry Ellis, Jamari Traylor and Landen Lucas. If they don't want to say that, they have to say Gregg Marshall is better than Bill Self.

If I'm a KU fan I'd be giving Baker, Van Vleet and Cotton all the love in the world because you definitely don't want to admit another coach can take a 6'7" center and a 6'5" PF and beat your 5 star front court with them. The truth hurts, though. Wessel played an out of character game offensively, but he also had 9 rebounds. I wonder how that happened? I'm pretty sure Darius Carter's teeth were still soft when he put up his 10 points in 16 minutes. These guys shouldn't be able to hold their own like that against such amazing talent and tradition. I guess it was a fluke. Those 9 rebounds from an out of position 6'5" kid were a fluke...

Frankly, I don't give a crap what ******* thinks, because he's already thoroughly proven he's an idiot. I don't really understand why you're trying to argue against what I said.

Apparently ******* isn't alone -- remember what Fran Fraschilla said about Baker and FVV not being on the first three preseason AA teams in one of the magazine previews. The world is full of Power5 silliness and bias, but it doesn't really matter. Results on the court are what count, and that's where Ron, Fred, Marshall, and the Shockers shine.

While we certainly aren't picked lowly, to paraphrase Lou Brown in Major League, I just want to give the P5 schools a nice big shitburger to eat at the end of the season. I may need to watch the clip of the Herb Brooks speech before every game. Maybe we could have HCGM recreate it for the intro video!

This is your time. Their time is done. It's over. I'm sick and tired of hearing about how great the P5 teams are. Screw 'em. This is YOUR time. Now go out there and take it!

Fran is right. If your first team AA list doesn't include Ron Baker, Kaleb T, Taurean Prince and Malcolm Brogden you're not paying attention or you're just trolling for clicks.
