I can see where a team with Early, VanVleet and Baker could go undefeated. UK played the rest of the NCAA tourney without Cauley-Stein. If they play the Shox without Cauley-Stein, they lose and the Shox are likely to be NC's that year.

It's a bit surprising, but this year the Shox have a much tougher schedule and are likely to be the favorite in every game they play.

There's no way I can predict a loss before the NCAA's. Even then, it's going to be hard to predict a loss in the first 2 weekends. Baker, Wessel, and VanVleet have shown that they refuse to lose. They've demonstrated that on some big stages. Those 3 are simply better than almost any other 3 guys on any D1 team at refusing to lose.
This is my exact thoughts as well!

We should be favored in every game on the schedule. Off days happen but win or lose, we should go very deep in the tournament. Our seniors will go out fighting!

The Shox enter the season with pretty much 4 Sr's with significant playing time their entire careers. Grady is in his first year as a Shock, but his experience makes him a lot different from most adds to a team.

I think the Shox are in a really good position to do well in early games. They should be in "mid-season form" in November.

Morris, Kelly, and Brown seem like the most logical options for the 5th starter. All those guys have experience on a S16. We're in good shape early, which is when the more challenging games happen.

No Frankamp in there? I think Brown is the most logical then Frankamp then Kelly or Morris. I wouldn't be in favor of Morris or Kelly starting because neither is known for speed or outside shooting, that would be a very slow lineup, with fairly poor spacing.

I believe he's talking about early in the season, which would mean Frankamp is NOT available yet.
