Nobody even mentions Graham Hatch, he was Wesseling before Wesseling was cool.

Originally posted by _kai_ View PostSo many people, actually everyone I think, left off Clevin. Come on now, that has to just be an oversight. If you carry 3 PG's, I think it has to be Fred, Rags & Clevin. Clevin to mix it up and have a PG that scores with range. Don't need Malcolm when you have Fred and Joe who are better guards of that type imo.Originally posted by wufan View PostI prefer Mal over Joe and Joe over Clevin.
That said, in season 1 under HCGM, the PG was Matt Brauer for 2/3 of the season and Gal Mekel for 1/3. Season 2 and 3 had Clevin. Season 4 was about 50/50 Joe Ragland and Toure Murry. Season 5 was all Rags. Season 6 was Malcolm Armstead. Season 7-9 was Fred. That's a hell of a run!
The hard thing about the choice is that for a two year career, Clevin has better numbers in points, assists, and steals (although worse in turnovers, rebounds, and all shooting percentages, although very close on 3-point and freethrow). Joe, even if you grad him lower than Clevin for a two year career, had by far the best single season of the two of them his senior year (although the team he was playing with didn't hurt). Hard to go wrong with either one of them, really."Cotton scared me - I left him alone." - B4MSU (Bear Nation poster) in reference to heckling players

We have and have had recent great point guards under GM. It certainly looks like, once again, we have some significant new talent at this position who promise great potential as well.
But, what looks good potentially obviously does not always pan out reference the fact that we have not been very successful, since FVV, as we do not have a single returning sophomore, junior, or senior back-up, point guard.

Just saying that having to rely on our starting SG, who played 30+minutes a game, as our only reliable back-up PG last season was necessary, but not perhaps the most ideal of situations. Hopefully, both starters will get plenty of required rest which will lesson their chances of injuries as well.
