First thought, Baker looks small compared to everyone else on the floor

A couple of early takeaways.

This is a ridiculously physical game. There are 5 fouls committed for each one called.

There are mostly MEN out there. Large, strong, wide MEN.

Prince (Baylor) is a BALL HOG, and needs to have his ass sat down for the rest of the tourney preferably.

Clearly Baker is the smartest player on the American side. He's also one of the most athletic. I can't even fathom how good he's going to be this next year.

Knowing how Few and Boyle coach, it has to be hard for them to have to watch some of that selfish ISO play. I'd take a roster of all college guys compared to this and think the pups would be a huge step up from some of these "veterans"

I don't get that impression at all. He looks small compared to everyone else on the floor that isn't a guard, sure.

Venezuela has some short, bulky guards, though.

LOL that's who I've been comparing him to this whole time. Except this guy gets beat on defense every single time and runs absolutely no offense. Definitely looks like he belongs on the AND1 Mixtape Tour.

In fairness the size brute strength by a majority of the players would make things difficult for Fred. That being said, this team would be MUCH better with Fred and without your choice of 1 player (sans Baker).


You're going to be playing against a bunch of professional men that spend a lot of time together. I'm not sure What the US does in a tourney like this....You can't get decent pros to play, and college kids are going to get pushed around a lot.
