Figured t-minus 7ish hours, it's about time an official discussion of the Pan Am Games takes place so we can celebrate a native Kansan, Wichita State GRADUATE, and all around great Shocker compete for his country.

First game is already over, and Brazil annihilated Puerto Rico 92-59. At one point Brazil was winning 20-2.

Some talk on Twitter about Pitino's zone defense getting lit up by Brazil's 3 pointer. Anyone know if PR's game against Brazil is an anomaly or are they that bad?

Pitino is the current Head Coach for the Puerto Rican FIBA team. Under contract to coach their national team at these Pan Am games and then coach them at the FIBA qualifiers later this summer.
