  • Some insight into last year's game with Memphis

Apparently New Mexico State had a former Memphis walk-on on staff and gave Pastner a little extra scouting for our game with the Tigers.

Edit: To clarify, I'm not insinuating any shenanigans were going on, I just found it interesting.

The frontline wasn't the problem for Memphis. Horrible guards and 24 TOs will get you blown out 60% of the time every time.

Pretty sure Pastner has a closet at home just for those.

I hope HCGM uses private email running on a server in Kellen's room.

What's wrong with this picture gents? We know what the basketball coach at Memphis was up to through his e-mails but we can't find out what the Secretary of State of this nation was doing? 2/3 zones are more important than national security?

Pastner isn't a media darling. Once the media is on your side, it really doesn't matter what you do anymore. Now, if the media is against you...you don't even have to DO anything to be in trouble.

Nixon is a great example of this. He REALLY didn't get along wqith the media. It was is if he went out of his way to pi$$ the ,media off. That did not work out well for him.

Absolutely, because an election isn't at stake. Pastner isn't surrounded by a "press" corps of stenographers pretending to be reporters.

Somebody needs to watch Anchorman again.
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

Apparently you must be too old to understand that one.

                          Again? What's Anchorman?

                          That's what I get for veering off-topic.

It's a heavy metal weight used to keep boats from drifting. But that's not important right now.
