Not sure how they ranked the teams. We have the advantage playing the earliest game, while Louisville has to play the last game of the day.
Shocker Mama, looking at the time differences, we can guess the bracket uses Eastern Time.

This was my guess of the seeds:

      1 - Michigan State
      8 - Saint Johns
      4 - Baylor
      5 - VCU

      2 - Louisville
      7 - Old Dominion
      3 - Wichita State
      6 - LSU

St. John's is significantly more talented than last year's SJU cellar dweller team. I can see why they might have been seeded 8th, but in actuality they're the 5th most talented team in the field. They have a disorganized playing style, though. The jury is still out on Mullen as coach.

Might have to find someone in Vegas to place a bet for me. I'm guessing Michigan State is a sizeable favorite against St John's. I'll take St. Johns on the money line please. MSU is struggling.

Rankings may not correlate with game times as TV is driving that boat to start with.

Excited to see how this plays out. Great opportunity to see just how good this team is going to be this year. I'm particularly interested to see how our two Freshmen play against much stronger competition.

Game day, let's do this Shox!

I'll take VCU with the upset of Baylor.

                Vegas has Baylor by 3.5+

                  4. Who’s Louisville’s biggest threat in The Bahamas?

Other than pool time, jet skis and unlimited buffets?

Give me Wichita State and Baylor, not Michigan State.

Ron Baker and Fred VanVleet aren’t walking through that door. I can’t name any of Greg Marshall’s players. But I can tell you the Shockers will defend and minimize silly turnovers.

Baylor beat Oregon. Michigan State should have lost to Florida Gulf Coast.

The Cards are the pick. But Wichita State is dangerous.
