Sounds like about as good a fit as WSU could possibly hope for with this gang of shooters -- also something that was mostly missing last year.

Maybe in addition to making the Shocks better on offense, he can show some of the young bigs a thing or two. That would be ideal.

He may have an adjustment to make. I notice lots of empty seats behind him in the highlights video. Kiss that goodbye, Big Guy!

Oh my. He has the collective skills that no experienced big man has had in the Marshall era, including CLE. Shaq has the potential, but not the experience. All of our youngins need to get in line. The teacher is here. Class is now in session.

Oh my goodness, I like how you said "where he did not redshirt" to fit your facts. I suppose the 2012-2013 season where he missed 26 games due to injuring his knee against Robert Morris, which made him red shirt, should be dismissed right? You do realize he played 6 games that year before going down with the injury. I said he never played a full season until last year and you go on to split the hair of all hairs by dismissing his red shirt season altogether as if he never set foot on the court that year. I'm sorry sir, but it doesn't work that way. He didn't elect to sit out that year and red shirt because of some personal or roster issue, he started the season and got hit with the injury. Big difference son.

Totally off base here. He didn't dismiss his redshirt season; he stated that in his three full seasons he played in 98% of the games. I think everyone acknowledges that he had a redshirt season due to injury, but that hardly backs up your statement that last year was the only season that he was healthy.

Knee injuries are a concern, certainly, but he's played in a higher percentage of games than Evan Wessel and Ron Baker (both eligible to transfer for their fifth year).

Yes, he did have a season limited by injury. He followed that by playing 31 and 33 games in the following two seasons, which to me indicates that the knees are not currently a problem. Facts are facts, he has played three full seasons and one season in which he had a medical redshirt after playing in six games. It might be "fair" to discount the season preceding the injury, but not, IMHO, the two all-conference years following the injury.

I am picturing both Shaq and Grady setting high ball screens at the same time for FVV and letting him choose what side to penetrate in the pick and roll, with Baker on one corner 3pt line and Wessel in the other. Pick your poison and good luck trying to stop it. All Game Long.

If we are placing a wing guard on the arc, I want it to be Conner, not Evan.
