....Man, I would love for this guy to be part of our program some day:

Heck, I would probably vote for him for president if he were to run.

    awesome. moton > obama

it's too good to be true, of course, alas, that he would come to wichita state to be an assistant coach at this time.

some day, though.. ? keep him on the rolodex, sexton.

He'll never be an assistant coach at WSU.

I'd be ecstatic if he ends up replacing Marshall one day years from now, though.

        Hopefully many years from now.

I'd be surprised if somebody doesn't hire him away from NCCU in the near future.
Its a good landing if you can walk away, its a great landing if the plane can be reused the next day.

Then we will hire him away from that next place, if necessary. We now pay like an elite program.

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

              Hopefully, but who knows.

If Marshall stays true to his past comments about not coaching into old-age, he might only have another seven years in his career.

So you are saying that "old age" starts at 60?

Hell, with 3G's $$$, "old age" can start whenever he wants it too!

Plus, Lynn publicly stated she's looked into Quik-Trip to supplement their income if needed!:)

I'd probably say 62, but 60's a nice round number. And based on Marshall's comments, I don't get the feeling he wants to coach past 60.

Apparently my post didn't hit the mark. Marshall can retire whenever and at whatever age he wishes. My point was and is 60 or 62 is NOT OLD AGE (you young whippersnapper).

You mean as in buy QuikTrip, the corporation? I guess the Marshall's could possibly do that, if they felt like it, before lunch.

Sure, and my grandmother's celebrating her 29th birthday this year, for the 48th consecutive year >=) And those aren't gray hairs popping up on the side of my head, I'm just going REALLY blonde as I age.

Of course Marshall can retire whenever and at whatever age he wishes. 62 is still old age, though ;)
