Good dude, very humble. His dad was a lot of fun to watch games with back in the day. I wish Randy could make it back to a game some day I think he'd have a lot of fun coming back to the old stomping grounds.

I don't count the first year for a coach as the first class. The first year is generally hobbled together trying to resign the previous staffs players and recruits and nabbing left overs late in the signing period. I believe Matt Clark was the only freshman Turg signed. All the others were JUCOs. Likewise, HCGM signed Aaron Ellis late and grabbed some transfers. The first recruiting class, IMO, steps on the court in year two of a coaches tenure (one full year of recruiting).

HCGMs first recruiting class (year two) was a dandy as well:

      Hannah
      Murry
      Kyles
      Blair
      Stutz

Its a good landing if you can walk away, its a great landing if the plane can be reused the next day.

He was also originally signed by Turgeon I believe. Reggie Chamberlain was however in the "first" Marshall class and he went on to have a good career after transferring.
