A top 20 game with Utah would be nice. Perhaps at the I?

There is still a lot of B12 love in the top 10. These guys just can't help themselves. Hopefully, the Shocks will get another crack at one of them in the tourney next year.
One quick note before we present the rankings: With Wichita State’s move to the American Athletic Conference, the Shockers have moved out of the mid-major club. We wish the Shockers well against Cincinnati, UConn, SMU, and more.

This reminds me if that time when Texas was a preseason top 10 and ended up finishing below 500 in conference and barely avoiding the NIT.

                  Here's a fun question.

Did Rick Barnes really fail this season and deserve the firing or did the preseason polls miss the mark so badly that it ultimately cost him his job? :)

                    A legit thought...

Pretty sure it was all about Rick and the deep abiding love of the faithful.

We're #15 in Bleacher Report's preseason poll. Crazy how good we have it, I said "Wow, that seems low...".

My recollection from years past is that the CBS sports early poll has often rated us lower than others, so top ten in that poll is even better than it sounds.

Also, something is apparently wrong with my link. I couldn't find Creighton listed and Villanova was ranked behind us. We don't play in the mighty Big East, did they not get the memo?
