Calling them "the worst fans" just seems like lazy commentary to me, and I don't see how any thoughtful person could honestly reach that opinion.

I just see how so many people take their personal annoyances and project them as greater than they really are. Perspective is hard. The occasionally annoying K-State fan next door seems terrible. The awful Alabama fan 1,000 miles away doesn’t bother you much. My observation is that the K-State fans are nowhere near as bad as many other fanbases.
I laugh at how you can go to New York, Florida, California, or Kansas, and EVERYBODY thinks their surrounding fanbases are the worst. It cracks me up. Like I said, perspective is hard.

Texas Longhorn fans, I've seen bothe the best and worst, firsthand.
LSU fans. Loyal, loud and a danger to fans of any other school. I've been to a game there. They are both passionate and rude. There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

Oh, one more. I was at the Nebraska/ Iowa football game last November. Most of the Iowa fans were decent, but if I wasn't there and witness this in person, I'd have chalked this up to an urban legend.
Section 19, row 64, about for seats from me, so I'll guess seat 12. An Iowa fan was extremely mouthy from even before the kickoff. Keep in mind, I really didn't care who won, and this turd burglar is is in everyone's grill, even mine, and I'm not wearing Husker gear. Guy was a total dickweed.
Right after the band's left the field at halftime, a very pregnant lady was trying to get back into her seat. She was doing the normal "excuse me" as she was working her way down the aisle. She must have accidentally bumped this guy, because he turned around and punched her hard in her very pregnant belly. The lady needed medical attention and the Iowa fan was dragged out by security.
I could label all Iowa fans as the worst based on this one example, but I would be ignoring the rest of the Iowa fans that were quite normal and polite. There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. When I was in high school, one of the most aggressive schools in terms of mailers was K-State. I have to admit that on occasion I wonder what might have been had I ended up there.
Sorry, that was out of line. Possibly true, but out of line. Then again, you put the ball on the tee...Last edited by MoValley John; June 1, 2016, 04:21 PM.There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Man, that consultants' report can't get here fast enough. We obviously need something to talk about--not that statistical analysis of bad fanbases and pregnant ladies getting punched aren't solid topics as is..."It's amazing to watch Ron slide into that open area, Fred will find him and it's straight cash homie."--HCGM

I'm asking for someone who actually believes K-State fans are "the worst" to give me a specific category they feel applies, and I'll give them a specific response.
