Rumor has it the Dubai made a pack of Gregg Marshall condoms, but had no way to unroll them, so they built the Burj Khalifa to unroll them on.

Why KU should now play WSU in scheduled non-con matches:

Losing is part of the game. If you never lose, you are never truly tested, and never forced to grow.

      DAVID SIRLIN
KU should play WSU, because WSU helps KU grow.

Losing is only temporary and not all encompassing. You must simply study it, learn from it, and try hard not to lose the same way again. Then you must have the self-control to forget about it.

      JOHN WOODEN
KU should play WSU, because WSU helps Bill Self learn self-control.

Any coward can fight a battle when he's sure of winning; but give me the man who has pluck to fight when he's sure of losing.

      GEORGE ELIOT
KU should play WSU, because WSU could give Bill Self pluck. Whatever that means.

Losing ... really does say something about who you are. Among other things it measures are: do you blame others, or do you own the loss? Do you analyze your failure, or just complain about bad luck? If you're willing to examine failure, and to look not just at your outward physical performance, but your internal workings, too, losing can be valuable. How you behave in those moments can perhaps be more self-defining than winning could ever be. Sometimes losing shows you for who you really are.

      LANCE ARMSTRONG
KU should play WSU, because WSU helps KU fans discover who they really are.

Always imitate the behavior of the winners when you lose.

      GEORGE MEREDITH
KU should play WSU, because WSU gives KU someone to imitate.

I never thought of losing, but now that it's happened, the only thing is to do it right. That's my obligation to all the people who believe in me. We all have to take defeats in life.

      MUHAMMAD ALI
KU should play WSU, because WSU helps KU fans believe in Bill Self.

Show me a good loser, and I'll show you a loser.

      VINCE LOMBARDI
KU should play WSU, because WSU helps Bill Self not be a loser. Sort of.

We certainly found out who Lance Armstrong was and how losing affected him. Cheat, lie, defame.

Watched the documentary on him. Armstrong is a pathetic individual.

Probably one of the biggest disappointments in sports and a man as far as I am concerned.

Isn't that the Texas way? We have built and encouraged a number of frauds and disappointments through the years (and our share of successes as well).

From Billy Sol Estes to Robert Allen Stanford to Ken Lay and Jeff Skilling.....we grow 'em bigger in Texas.

Lance was just the biggest one, in my opinion, from a personal standpoint. He triumphed over tragedy (testicular cancer) which was a great story.....until we found out that he was the most sophisticated cheater on the face of the earth.

Bill Self and Gregg Marshall were at the same press conference at the NCAA tournament one day, and Self tried to humilate Marshall by publicly offering him a buy game at Allen Fieldhouse. Gregg thought about it and said, "Bill, you should be careful about making that offer . . . win or lose, you'll have toupee."

Interesting article, although the sample size of the poll was small, it is interesting to see that KU fans who state they care less about 'little brother' and barely acknowledge our existence, have us as one of their desired non-con opponents on their schedule. They confuse me.

A staff poll (plus a select few others) reveals the top 5 teams KU fans would like to see on the non-conference schedule for Kansas basketball.

Voters who commented on their choice of WSU mostly referred to "revenge" or "keeping them in their place."
I guess what they mean by keeping us in our place they mean allowing us to continue to be the Kings of Kansas

Marshall will most likely only accept a home and home format, if the Beakers can convince Self to play the Shockers. I am not holding my breath for these games to be scheduled.

We depantsed them at the worst possible time...on national television in the NCAA Tournament. Of course they want revenge. We'll gladly give them that opportunity...IN KOCH ARENA!

They seem to consider Kentucky a big game when Kentucky ownes the series against them. Lol. I find that odd. They'd be better off scheduling wsu and ucla..They'd probably lose to us, but unfortunately we wouldn't embarrasse them like Kentucky usually does.

                              Makes me think of this:

Another WSU-KU game probably won't happen again unless it's in a tournament. It's about like Halley's comet, something you only get to see once or twice in your lifetime.
