The Big 12 may very well of had the most parity within their conference this year. Which, based on what we have seen in the NCAA tournament, means their top teams were good teams but not great teams and the middle and bottom of the league was closer to the top teams than most leagues.

Clearly though the best basketball teams in the country did not reside in the Big 12 this year.
