Marshall's only NCAA win with Winthrop was ND. Marshall has stated several times in the last few weeks alone that ND's coach and him talk occasionally and that he has been very good to Marshall.

Positive interaction for sure. Maybe leads to non conference scheduling. I don't know how all that works, but I assume that relationships are a part of it. Plus, good early season challenge for both teams. Up or down year to year, the competitive coaches want their teams to have these challenges.
