I've always been a KU fan ever since my cousin took me to a game in the late 90s when Paul Pierce played for the jayhawks. My cousin was a shocker student around that time and I remember going to the round house with her to watch Jason Perez play!! Boy was that arena empty for some of the games. I've always have followed the shockers through out my years of being a college basketball fan. From coach turg to coach marshall, the shockers have improved every year i've been following them!
Today my Jayhawks were out played, out hustled, and was out coached!!
To me i've had this feeling the last couple of years that coach Self doesn't know how to utilize one and done players into his system. Which has caused us to have early exits from the tournament the last couple of years.
I gotta give credit to Marshall and co! The shockers played with poise and confidence while the jayhawks looked lost and confused.
I think it would be awesome if KU played WSU every year but unfortunately that won't happen with Self at the helm.
Thanks for giving coach Self a wake up call today. He needed it and he needs to change what he has been doing the last couple of years because it isn't working. Yeah winning 11 straight conference titles is awesome but early tournament exits drive me crazy!
Marshall is a great coach and great leader! I really hope he sticks with the Shockers program because the sky is the limit for your basketball team!!!
I'll be cheering you guys on for the remainder of the tournament!! It sure would be nice to see the shockers advance past Notre Dame and take down Kentucky!! Shoot they made us look silly and so did the shockers!!
