I checked with Webster to find the definition of PANIC and saw a picture of Bill Self from this game. I am still just amazed how he blew through timeouts so quickly. At the 2:59 mark in the first half after a Baker 3, the first timeout was called. At 15:47 in the second half, after Ron had a putback from a missed layup from Fred, Self called his next-to-last timeout. He used four timeouts in a span of 7:14 of gametime.

Isn't life interesting? Chris tried so hard to be a "gangster" when he was in college. Now, in his 40s, he's using his intelligence, wit and charm to continue his very successful career.

He also uses his "pulpit" to espouse his opinion, in a hunt where he has NO dog, that good teams with good kids should simply play each other and so what if one fan base gets to crow about it for a few months until they play again. What a concept.
