The Shocks are fighting hard. We need to quit turning over the rock. It was nice to see Baker and FVV making shots, Wessel fighting for loose balls, and Cotton slashing. That was an ugly half on both sides offensively, and beautiful defensively. But an ugly half that we won.

So far this is going exactly the way I wanted it to go: The refs are letting a lot go (which says a lot considering both teams were in the double bonus; so many dumb fouls), and Ron's shot is back.

The only worrying thing that's kept this from being even better is that we're turning the ball over like I never thought we would.

I hate to rain on you guys parade but this game is going as I expected. The only way you moved on against IU was shooting 34 free throws. That game was very poorly officiated. I think you won't get that kind of flop calls in this game. Good luck though.
