bullsh*t. more pressure on wichita state to win. when is the next time that ku puscies will play wichita state?
IMO I think there's more pressure on KU because they won't schedule WSU and the media the last couple years has been giving them a hard time about it. KU acts likes they're superior and they don't need to play WSU, but now that they must play them and the stakes are huge, they're going to look really bad if they lose. If WSU loses, then we'll have to listen to KU fans gloat but the media will move on to other things, like a possible KU vs Kentucky rematch. Also, high seeds always have more pressure to win and I think this year there's even more pressure on a Big 12 team to win on the weekend given their dismal outing on the first day. I think WSU had a lot more pressure on them to win than Indiana did.
I think WSU is in a win, win situation but KU isn't. A WSU win gets us to the Sweet 16 and KU is just another victim on the road and likely leads to scheduling in the future as KU isn't going to want a loss to be mentioned when people say 'the last time these two teams met'. A WSU loss will sting for us fans, but will add extra motivation for the players to get back at them next year.
Personally I would love to see WSU win by at least 10, but I have a feeling it'll be more like the Kentucky game last year but with a W instead of a L.
KU wins, they say that little brother should have been careful what they wished for.WSU wins, the d-bags will say that KU wins 9 of 10 on a neutral court.

No. Because they will never play us 10 times on a nuetral court... ba zing!!

Pressure schmessure... the only pressure is both fan bases...

I definitely might have to watch this game alone. I'm a nervous wreck during NCAA tourney games, but the added pressure of this one will make it more stressful but more fun. I predict an instant classic like last year's Kentucky game. Hopefully this time we win it.
Question: Im heading up to Omaha Sunday morning and the Mother in Law wants me to bring her back a shirt. Anybody know if the bookstore is there? If so where at?
Any WSU fan that says a win against KU surpasses a F4 needs to have their head examined, with possible involuntary commitment.
What a stupid, stupid thought.
Before you go around calling anyone stupid, stupid, you should learn the difference between equates to and surpasses.
Further, just by volume alone, the total number of comments referencing this board's obsession with KU far surpasses those referring to our last F4 by a huge margin.

60Shock:
Would you feel better about WSU beating KU in the round of 32 and losing in the S16 or reaching a FF4?
Perhaps I'm missing your point, but I believe most Shocker fans will not agree with your comment.
I'm sure most fans would rather see WSU play KU on the Shockers WAY to a FF, but not substitute a FF simply to play KU.
