  • Question for you Shocker Fans

I was wondering, are you all going to cheer for KU or New Mex St friday?

As much as I hate KU, this game has to happen... (go ku)

I would think a lot of WSU fans will cheer for KU to win. Probably folks on Shockernet will have more NMSU fans than the average breakdown.

Definitely KU here. I want us to get to take them out.

I'm indifferent. I would love to see the game happen, but I will not be at all upset if NMSU steals it away. NMSU will be a tough matchup, but I think we will all get what we want to see.

Ditto. There is only one team I am cheering for. If WSU loses, I won't care what happens elsewhere. If WSU wins, I'll enjoy certain things about either a KU or NMSU win.

I want another shot UK. Who we have to beat to get to that game matters little to me. I want the Shox to be the team tipping it off with 35-0 Kentucky... :-)

I remember when I lived in ToPuka. There were about 5 WSU fans there. That was when Antoine Carr played for us and even then we didn't get much respect up there. I mean, isn't ToPuka about 40 miles from FLawrence?

Seriously, though, the CapJournal did run some nice articles about us this year, but I really don't care nearly as much whether KU wins as whether WE win.

I think the question is a little irrelevant.

During the first game on Friday I will be an interested, impartial, observer. Then I will switch modes and passionately cheer for the Shockers like a maniac.

We are fortunate enough to be going on Friday. I can honestly say I don't know who I will root for until the ball goes up. Probably KU. It depends on how obnoxious their fans are before the game. I will say that it appeared that most fans for the 3 Kansas teams last year in St Louis cheered for each other.

As much as I would love to see; The Wichita State University WheatShockers; beat the crap out of those damn chickenhawks, I could never bring myself to cheer for those damn chickenhawks under any circumstance. I'll be cheering for NMSU.

I suppose I would like to see KU win assuming the Shocks can get by Indiana. I would really enjoy seeing a game between KU and the Shocks. Just doesn't happen enough. But if the Shocks lose to Indiana I really won't care too much about the KU vs NMSU game. In that scenario I suppose I would like to see NMSU pull the upset since the Shocks played and beat NMSU this year and NMSU was willing to schedule the Shocks.
